The summer Milky Way rises high in the sky at midnight during June and July. It passes through some of the brighter summer constellations including Scorpius, Sagittarius, Aquila, and Cygnus.In the foreground are the Chiricahua Mountains and Bifrost Observatory in southeastern Arizona.
